Hearing Aids

Hearing aids are not collected as part of your local recycling collection or at household waste and recycling centres.

However, they are often collected for charity at a variety of places…

What can I do with them?

Collection points for hearing aids can often be found at:

  • Doctors surgeries;
  • Hospital audiology departments;
  • Private hearing specialists;
  • Some charity shops i.e. Help the Aged and Age Concern.

These collections are usually charity based. Donated hearing aids are repaired, refurbished and sent overseas for re-use in developing countries. Batteries for hearing aids are also wanted.
